Moles who play the Violin!

Students compared two stories about moles who play the violin. Gustav Mole grows up in a musical family but only decides to study music seriously after a piece of music touches his heart! In "Mole Music", Mole takes up the violin as an adult, realizing it's never too late to learn a new instrument.    https://youtu.be/WolZlgtFgi0 https://youtu.be/qoa7AWer7iI

Music is a wonderful way to explore history and culture! The jukebox represents different time periods and the globe represents different places. This year students will be hopping in our time machine to imagine how instruments were invented hundreds of years ago, explore 18th Century Italy, learn African rhythms and indigenous medicine songs, and examine how music and music technology has changed in the last century around the world. Come along on our adventure!
