Remembrance Day

Thank you so much to the Grade 5 teachers and students who hosted our assembly today. Students did an excellent job and many families were able to attend!

For those of you who couldn't make it, here are the songs that students sang. Perhaps they will give you a private performance to demonstrate their beautiful singing voice.

Kindergartners sang "Do You Know Where I Find Peace"

Grade 1 & 2 students sang "Light a Candle for Peace" and learned the sign language.

Grade 3 & 4 students sang "A Wish for Peace" with Grade 3's singing echo's and harmonies in Verse 2 and many Grade 4 students learned the Ahhh part on recorders!

Grade 5 students performed "Highway of Heroes" and they chose from singing, recorders, ukulele's, glockenspiel and xylophones. A few lucky students got to play bass bars and snare drum as well.

The snare drum students might enjoy playing during the instrumental of the song goes like this:

ta, ta, ti-ti, ta, tika-tika, ta, ti-ti, ta
